Icon of St. Silouan the Athonite I pray thee, O Merciful Lord, let all mankind, from Adam to the end of time, come to know Thee, that Thou art good and merciful, that all nations may rejoice in Thy peace, and behold the light of Thy countenance. Thy gaze is tranquil and meek and draws the soul to Thee.St. Silouan the Athonite
Lenten Prayer of St. Ephraim the Syrian

O Lord and Master of my life,Take from me the spirit of sloth, despair, lust of power and idle talk.
But give rather the spirit of chastity, meekness of mind, patience and love to Thy servant.
Yea O Lord and King, grant me to see my own transgressions and not to judge my brother, for blessed art thou unto ages of ages. Amen.

Bishop BASIL - November 2005

View Slideshow

Bishop BASIL visited our congregation for the very first time on 7 November 2005, and he presided at the service of Great Vespers for the Feast of the Synaxis of the Holy Archangels. Afterwards we had a delightful banquet, and many people stayed to enjoy the food and fellowship. This was a great time in the life of our Orthodox Christian community.
